Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-

Aoi answers an inherited debt with professional independence, using her cooking skills to build a place inside a spirit-run inn.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

College student Aoi can see spirits and has learned that feeding them is generally practical. A powerful innkeeper carries her to his supernatural inn and presents an old debt attached to a proposed marriage. Aoi declines the arrangement and offers labor instead, beginning a career in hospitality where cooking provides useful bargaining power.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Aoi inherits her grandfather's sight for spirits along with a debt to the master of a grand supernatural inn. She refuses his marriage demand and chooses to work off what is owed. Her cooking becomes both profession and bridge, introducing an unfamiliar world through its guests and customs.

Gigguku

Aoi arrives at a lavish inn for spirits, hears that an old family debt supposedly requires marriage, and says absolutely not. Then she bets on her own cooking! That decision gives the fantasy romance real momentum because every dish is also proof that she can build a life on terms she chose herself.

Father's Basement

An inherited debt used to demand marriage is an irritating engine for romance. Aoi's response rescues it. She refuses the bargain and insists on earning her way through work at the spirit inn. The hospitality premise is gentler than the opening threat, with food giving her a concrete way to establish independence.

The series centers on a female college student named Aoi, who inherited the ability to see spirits from her late grandfather. Aoi prides herself on her cooking, and one day she's feeding some agricultural spirits when suddenly a god and the master of the "Tenshinya" (Heavenly Inn) appears and takes Aoi away.

What defines it

A gentle shoujo supernatural romance. Food-driven and warm.
