Synopsis

The Anime Lad

In 2078, Hitomi comes from a family of witches but has lost her sense of color and any affection for magic. Her grandmother sends her back to 2018, where the younger version of that grandmother is still a student. Hitomi arrives without an explanation suitable for local authorities.

Hitomi sees the world in gray and has lost her sense of magic. Her grandmother abruptly sends her from 2078 to 2018. There, a young man's drawings produce a flash of color, drawing her toward the mystery of his work and her grandmother's purpose.

Gigguku

The first burst of color in Hitomi's gray world feels like someone opened a window inside the screen! She lands decades before her own time and meets her grandmother as a teenager. Then students who make art for fun pull her closer. Every photograph becomes a chance to look again.

Photography asks her to observe a world she has stopped engaging with, while Yuito's drawings supply a specific mystery without turning her emotional distance into a simple switch.
