How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?

A fitness comedy that pauses its gym antics for clear demonstrations of real exercises, using bright animation and muscle diagrams to teach form alongside jokes.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Hibiki enjoys eating and decides to join a gym after noticing the consequences. There she meets Akemi, a classmate whose interest in muscles is considerably less casual, and Machio, a trainer with educational enthusiasm. The comedy pauses regularly to demonstrate exercises, explain form, and identify which muscles should be working. It is part schoolgirl sitcom, part beginner workout guide, with an unusually muscular transition between them.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Hibiki wants to get fit without surrendering food. A polished gym introduces her to muscle-obsessed Akemi and relentlessly helpful trainer Machio. Each episode teaches real movements through demonstrations, diagrams, and corrections before returning to comedy. Squats become curriculum. Machines get explained. Fan service shares floor space with practical advice. You may exercise during the ending prompt.

Gigguku

The gym jokes arrive with a genuinely useful explanation of basic form delivered by a trainer whose clothes fear him. Hibiki is a perfect beginner because she wants results, loves food, and reacts to exercise with total honesty. Akemi supplies alarming muscle enthusiasm. Then the show invites movement along with it, like the brightest possible workout partner yelling through the screen.

Father's Basement

Its body-focused fan service is frequent enough to undermine the beginner-friendly message for some viewers. That warning belongs up front. Yet the instructional sections are surprisingly solid. Hibiki joins a gym with little experience, trainers break movements into understandable steps, and simple diagrams show the target muscles. The comedy is broad, but the advice treats exercise as learnable rather than magical punishment.
