No Guns Life

A war-modified investigator with a revolver for a head handles cases involving other weaponized people, wrapping the premise in hard-boiled detective style.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

After a war, heavily modified people called Extends live throughout the city. Juuzo Inui is one of them and works as an investigator handling Extend-related trouble. His head is a large revolver, which affects first impressions. His missing memories remain another case with no simple file number.

Super Eyepatch Fox

The war left behind Extends, people rebuilt as dangerous machinery. Juuzo Inui has a revolver for a head and earns his living taking cases involving others like him. Mary assists. The city supplies clients, hazards, and very little room for normal introductions.

Gigguku

No Guns Life takes hard-boiled noir and bolts it onto a cyborg whose head is an enormous revolver! Juuzo investigates cases involving Extends, people modified into living weapons after war, while Mary supplies technical help. That outrageous silhouette gives the familiar detective setup immediate force!

Father's Basement

The central character has a revolver where his face should be, and the series occasionally acts as if this demands no comment. Once that hurdle clears, the noir structure works. Juuzo handles cases involving fellow Extends while his own missing history keeps the investigator inside the mystery.
