ID: INVADED

An original science-fiction mystery where investigators reconstruct killers' unconscious worlds, turning broken visual logic into evidence for crimes in the real world.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

A police unit uses experimental technology to enter id wells, symbolic environments formed from a murderer's unconscious drives. Their best investigator appears inside as Sakaido, a detective who must first reconstruct where and what he is. His surreal discoveries guide analysts working in reality. It is a procedural where the evidence may be a floating house, a broken body, or gravity declining to cooperate.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Investigators detect murderous intent and build an id well from it. Sakaido dives inside, stripped of ordinary context, then deciphers each impossible landscape as a crime scene. A support team connects his symbolic clues to the physical world. Fragmented bodies. Missing memories. Murder cases solved through visual logic. The machine opens minds, never cleanly.

Gigguku

The first id well literally makes you assemble the detective along with the mystery. That is such a confident visual idea. Every killer's unconscious becomes a new set of broken rules, and Sakaido has to treat surreal architecture like evidence. Meanwhile the real-world team watches, argues, and turns his discoveries into an investigation. It is puzzle-box science fiction with actual momentum.

Father's Basement

You will hear enough proprietary nouns in the opening episode to suspect the glossary wrote the script. Push through that. The core device is strong: technology renders a killer's unconscious as an explorable world, Sakaido interprets its dream logic, and analysts outside test those clues against reality. The mysteries work best when the visuals communicate psychology more cleanly than the exposition does.
