Synopsis
Kouichi Sakakibara transfers to a new school and immediately notices a frightening atmosphere in his class. Nobody will explain the secret behind it. Mei Misaki, a quiet girl with an eyepatch, appears to sit at the center of the unease. Kouichi asks questions. His classmates continue demonstrating that silence can be a coordinated group activity.
A transfer places Kouichi in a class where every student seems aware of a secret he has not been told. Mei draws his attention, but asking about her only deepens the room's discomfort. The setup turns routine school behavior into evidence. A redirected answer or an empty corridor can carry the mystery without resolving it.

The horror imagery can advertise danger more loudly than the story needs. The class is creepier when it behaves almost normally. Kouichi arrives without the information everyone else shares, and his questions about Mei meet careful evasion. That social imbalance gives each conversation a practical threat. The mystery works because explanation is being withheld on purpose.
