Practical confusion gives way to a larger issue: everyone now has unwanted access to someone else's life. Club attendance remains technically voluntary. The phenomenon does not respect that.

No pair can contain the damage, and each student must decide what they owe the person whose life they briefly occupy. The premise works when it treats privacy as fragile rather than using the swaps as a disposable gag.
