Campione!

A sixteen-year-old bears the title Campione, marking him as a God Slayer responsible for confronting troublesome deities that enter the human world.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Sixteen-year-old Godou Kusanagi becomes a Campione, a mortal known as a God Slayer. The title carries a duty to confront deities that intrude on the human world. It also attracts the attention of knowledgeable followers, including the forceful sword-wielding Erica. Godou's ordinary schedule is no longer authoritative.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Give a teenager the title God Slayer. Send troublesome deities into his path. Surround him with advisers who understand the supernatural job better than he does. Campione! combines myth-based combat with romantic comedy and a hero carrying authority he never requested. Myth supplies stakes.

Gigguku

Godou is sixteen and already stuck with a title that makes divine conflict part of his responsibilities. That is gloriously excessive. Erica understands the supernatural world far better than he does and has no intention of staying politely distant. Myth and romantic pressure arrive as parts of the same unwanted promotion.

Father's Basement

The female following is built into the sales pitch, and the romantic comedy is rarely subtle about it. The useful distinction is Godou's title. A Campione exists to confront gods, giving the supernatural fights roots in mythology instead of relying on anonymous magic. That distinction gives viewers a cleaner reason to stay.
