The Anime Lad
Most people are born with a superpower called a Quirk. Izuku Midoriya is not, but he maintains detailed notebooks on professional heroes and plans to join their ranks anyway. His classmate supplies explosions and discouragement. Then the number one hero, All Might, catches Izuku running toward danger without a power. The admissions process becomes less conventional from there.
Gigguku
Izuku has no power, but his notebooks are packed with rescue angles and hero habits. Then danger hits and he moves before the professionals do. That choice gets All Might's attention, and I am completely sold. Training suddenly has a deadline. Every exhausting drill becomes proof that this nervous kid might carry impossible strength without losing the instinct that earned it!
Father's Basement
The powerless fan inheriting the strongest ability is chosen-one machinery in plain view. Izuku earns some resistance by acting before he is chosen. His body moves toward someone in danger while trained heroes hesitate. All Might notices the same contradiction the audience does. The boy lacks the physical qualification, yet already understands the job.
