Synopsis

The Anime Lad

The members of a school DIY club set out to build furniture while working through uncertain friendships and futures. Their projects require intention and effort, qualities that are also inconveniently useful outside the workshop. Do It Yourself!! treats making as an activity rather than a decorative backdrop. The club has elected to approach personal growth with tools.

Super Eyepatch Fox

A group of girls joins a school DIY club. They choose projects and build furniture with their own hands. The work takes effort, and the results do not appear instantly. Friendship develops beside the practical task rather than replacing it. Do It Yourself!! keeps its attention on people learning through the simple act of making something together.

Gigguku

A DIY club full of girls decides to build furniture and keeps going even when the work refuses to be easy. That is such a good foundation for a school series. Every project gives their effort a physical shape, while friendship grows through the time spent making it. Do It Yourself!! understands how exciting it can feel to look at an object and know your own hands put it there.

Father's Basement

Another school club about friendship sounds assembled from spare parts. Do It Yourself!! at least gives its cast real work to do. The girls build furniture by hand, which makes effort part of the premise instead of a speech delivered after the fact.
