Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Nagi Umino is preparing to meet his biological parents after learning he was switched with another baby at the hospital. On the way, he encounters Erika Amano, who recruits him for a fake-boyfriend photo intended to discourage an arranged match. Their separate family problems soon prove unusually compatible. The parents propose an engagement and provide living arrangements with the efficiency of people solving a scheduling conflict.

Nagi learns that another family raised him after a hospital mix-up. Erika wants photographic evidence of a boyfriend to resist her father's marriage plans. A chance encounter links their problems before either understands how closely. Their families then turn the old mistake into a new arrangement. Nagi already likes a classmate, Erika wants independence, and cohabitation places every objection under one roof.
