Synopsis

William James Moriarty lives in a Victorian Britain where rank protects cruelty and poverty supplies its victims. As a professor and private consultant, he listens to people whom the legal system has little interest in helping. His solutions apply mathematical care to social grievances and occasionally exceed ordinary professional guidelines. The nobility may submit complaints through channels they designed for themselves.
