Bayron City profits from orgonium and contracts private companies to handle the demon incidents connected to it. Shuu owns one such company, although his finances suggest ownership may be aspirational. Kisara, a demon who works for him, also keeps his daily life functioning. Ayano, his capable ex and former colleague, remains professionally nearby.

On the artificial island of Bayron City, private contractors suppress demon-related disasters tied to a valuable energy resource. Shuu runs a tiny firm that rarely pays its bills. Demon contractor Kisara supplies support at work and home, while his ex-colleague Ayano remains in the same dangerous field.

Gigguku

Shuu hunts demons for money, spends badly enough to remain penniless, and depends on Kisara for contract work and ordinary chores. Then Ayano, his ex and former colleague, remains inside the same professional orbit. The setup is an operational DISASTER in the best way. Bayron City outsourced demon incidents to private companies and somehow Shuu’s tangled relationships became part of the local response system.

Shuu’s poor spending habits can make the romantic comedy feel less charming than the setup intends. At least the dysfunction has practical consequences. Bayron City outsources demon suppression to private companies, and Shuu’s struggling firm relies on Kisara while his accomplished ex remains involved in the same field.
