Saya Otonashi is a high school student who cannot remember the previous year of her life. A man arrives with a katana and pulls her toward a threat hidden inside ordinary society. The enemies are blood-feeding Chiropterans that can disguise themselves as human. Her missing past has therefore acquired both a weapon and an investigation.
