Synopsis

The Anime Lad

The Oni arrive from space and choose student Ataru to represent Earth in a game of tag. His opponent is Lum, their airborne princess. The contest carries planetary stakes, while Ataru brings his usual appetite for bad decisions. Alien conflict soon becomes tangled with his romantic life and thoroughly disrupts anything resembling domestic calm.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Aliens challenge Earth through a game of tag. Chronically unlucky Ataru must catch Oni princess Lum. The contest mixes planetary danger with his shameless behavior. Lum's interest carries the conflict beyond the field and into his daily life, where romance becomes another source of supernatural disruption.

Gigguku

Earth faces an alien invasion and somehow its fate rests on Ataru playing tag with Lum, a flying Oni princess. That setup already has incredible comic energy. Then alien attention collides with Ataru's disastrous approach to romance. School life and supernatural chaos occupy the same loud space, with nobody interested in restraint!

Father's Basement

Ataru's behavior is the immediate warning label. He approaches both danger and romance with the confidence of someone who has never examined a consequence. Making him Earth's representative sharpens the joke. Lum and the Oni bring supernatural force to a conflict already undermined by its supposed human champion.
