Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

A 2023 BUG FILMS comedy about exhausted office worker Akira making a hundred-item bucket list after a zombie outbreak frees him from his job.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Years at a soul-crushing company have left Akira underpaid, exhausted, and living in a trash-filled apartment. Then a zombie apocalypse ravages his town. His first opportunity is freedom from work. He creates a list of one hundred things to do before he dies. The office leave policy is no longer relevant.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Akira’s job has drained his home, confidence, and desire. A zombie outbreak ends the commute and gives him a reason to choose his own days again. He writes a hundred-item bucket list and begins pursuing it before the apocalypse catches him. Survival now has personal goals beyond another shift.

Gigguku

Akira is so crushed by work that a zombie apocalypse feels like liberation. That single reversal is the whole engine. The town is collapsing, but he finally has permission to ask what he wants from his own life. His answer is a list of one hundred things to do before he dies. Horrible timing. Incredible energy!

Father's Basement

The evil company is drawn broadly enough that the satire never risks ambiguity. The contrast still works. Akira’s job has made ordinary life feel worse than a town full of zombies, so the outbreak reads as freedom before it reads as danger. The bucket list gives that relief a structure and keeps survival from becoming the only goal.
