Danganronpa: The Animation

Danganronpa: The Animation is a 2013 locked-school mystery about fifteen students and a lethal graduation rule imposed by Monokuma.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Makoto Naegi enters Hope's Peak Academy as its unusually average new student, then wakes inside a sealed version of the school. Fourteen gifted classmates are trapped with him, and a talking bear announces a graduation rule based on murder and deception. Suspicion leads to investigation, followed by public argument. School spirit is understandably low.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Fifteen students enter an academy built for exceptional talent. Steel plates cover the exits. Monokuma, a grinning mechanical bear, offers one route out: commit murder and fool the class afterward. Every room may hold evidence. Every introduction may become relevant. Welcome to the least accredited debate club in anime.

Gigguku

Danganronpa takes a school mystery, paints it in radioactive colors, then turns every accusation into an arcade attack! Makoto is the ordinary student among a class of intimidating specialists, all sealed inside Hope's Peak by a gleefully cruel bear. The investigations move quickly, the personalities arrive at maximum volume, and the class-trial setup makes logic feel like competitive combat.

Father's Basement

Compressing a long mystery game into thirteen episodes means clues and relationships can sprint past before they land. Still, the core machine is hard to dismiss. A group of talented students is locked in a prestigious academy, a mascot imposes a lethal graduation rule, and each crisis leads to a class trial where a wrong consensus carries consequences. Subtle it is not. Efficient, often.
