Shin comes from an online game that trapped its players inside a lethal virtual space. Instead of returning to ordinary life, he reaches a world resembling that setting five hundred years later. His abilities remain useful, but the place has acquired centuries of history without consulting him. The adventure begins with a well-equipped stranger discovering that familiarity is not the same as current information.
