The Anime Lad
Banri Tada begins law school in Tokyo after an accident erased his earlier memories. He promptly gets lost and befriends fellow student Mitsuo. Then Kouko arrives with a bouquet and an intense attachment to Mitsuo. Banri wants a fresh start. His new social circle has interpreted fresh as immediately complicated.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Amnesiac freshman Banri moves to Tokyo for law school and builds a life without his remembered past. A lost walk gives him a friend, then Kouko arrives with theatrical certainty about whom she loves. College clubs and new independence turn romance into a series of choices without familiar guardrails.
Gigguku
Golden Time puts romantic chaos in college, where nobody can hide behind homeroom schedules. Banri arrives without his old memories, while Kouko storms into campus life with a bouquet and terrifying commitment. Their first meeting feels adult and deeply immature at once. Everyone has freedom, yet nobody has the composure to use it sensibly!
Father's Basement
Kouko's theatrical entrance is exhausting by design, though the scene enjoys it too much. The stronger idea is Banri entering adulthood without access to his earlier memories. Law school offers new classmates and freedom, but no instructions for rebuilding a life. Moving the romance to college gives this opening more autonomy than another homeroom encounter.
