Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Rin Okumura is a hotheaded teenager raised at a monastery. He learns that demons exist beside the human world and decides to become an exorcist rather than remain frightened of them. He enters a training academy with powerful blue flames that are poorly suited to discretion. Future planning remains difficult.

Demons cross into the human world through possession, and trained exorcists push them back. Hotheaded Rin Okumura chooses to join their profession and enters a training academy. His blue flames make a powerful weapon and a terrible aid to discretion. Classroom restraint is not his specialty.

He chooses to train as an exorcist while carrying blue flames and very little patience. His impulsiveness is a real liability rather than a decorative trait, so even ordinary lessons threaten to become emergencies.
