Outbreak Company

An obsessive fan is sent to introduce Japanese pop culture to a fantasy empire, turning broad entertainment knowledge into an unusual cultural exchange job.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Shinichi possesses unusually deep knowledge of anime culture and related entertainment. A mysterious recruitment process sends him to a fantasy empire where his assignment is cultural exchange. He begins sharing popular media and proposes a school. His hobby has acquired official duties.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Dedicated otaku Shinichi accepts a mysterious job and finds himself in a fantasy realm with elves and dragons. His mission is to introduce anime culture rather than fight monsters. Broad fandom knowledge becomes teaching material as he develops the idea for a school.

Gigguku

Outbreak Company asks what happens when obsessive anime knowledge becomes a formal qualification. Shinichi reaches a fantasy world ready to share manga, games, and light novels with people who have never encountered them. Then he proposes a school, turning fandom enthusiasm into a full cultural project.

Father's Basement

The setup leans heavily on familiar otaku jokes and fan service, so the title of cultural exchange can sound grander than the comedy. The practical premise still works. Shinichi knows entertainment deeply, the fantasy audience does not, and teaching requires more than listing favorites.

Having a light novel author father and an eroge illustrator mother, Kanou Shinichi is a thoroughbred otaku. However he does not have any special power except for his broad knowledge, sharp insight, and impeccable instinct about "MOE" and its products, from manga to anime to games to light novel to figures.

What defines it
