Black Bullet

This dystopian action series pairs licensed adult agents with virus-affected girls whose enhanced abilities protect fortified cities that still treat them with open fear.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Years after a parasitic virus drove survivors behind giant Varanium monoliths, Rentaro works as a civil security agent. He partners with Enju, a young Initiator whose infection grants the strength needed to fight Gastrea. The city depends on teams like theirs while distrusting children like her. Institutional gratitude remains a limited resource.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Human survivors occupy fortified cities protected from Gastrea, creatures created by a parasitic virus. Civil security teams pair adult Promoters with infected young Initiators who possess enhanced abilities. Rentaro and Enju form one such team. Gunfights and urban investigation unfold beside a harsher social conflict, since the children defending the city are also targets of public fear.

Gigguku

Enju launches into action with this fearless, spring-loaded energy, then the city turns around and treats girls like her as threats. That contradiction gives every victory a bitter edge. Rentaro is trying to do professional security work inside a society that has built enormous walls without fixing its smaller cruelties. The opening sells fast combat while making the partnership matter first.

Father's Basement

The setting stacks infection, monsters, social hatred, and child soldiers with little concern for subtlety. Its bleakness can feel manufactured. The central system still has dramatic utility: adults rely on infected girls for protection while maintaining prejudice against them. Rentaro and Enju make that hypocrisy personal, and their established teamwork lets the opening move without pausing for a full glossary.
