Synopsis

The Anime Lad

A lunar discovery opened a route to Mars and helped split humanity into two unequal societies. Years later, Martian princess Asseylum visits Earth hoping to support peace. The arrangement is already fragile. When war begins and steel giants descend, ordinary people inherit a conflict built long before they entered the room.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Apollo 17 finds a gate on the moon. Humans settle Mars and gain access to a powerful discovery called Aldnoah. A new Martian society rises apart from Earth. Decades later, a royal peace visit meets a waiting conflict, and machines begin falling from the sky. The scale is announced immediately.

Gigguku

A moon gate, a Martian princess, and steel giants dropping toward Earth. ALDNOAH.ZERO wastes no time making its political tension enormous. I love how the marketed setup puts a hopeful visit beside enough old resentment to make every formal gesture feel brittle. Then the mecha arrive and the whole argument becomes terrifyingly physical.

Father's Basement

The Earth and Mars conflict is painted in broad space-opera colors, and subtle diplomacy is not the main attraction. The useful part is the imbalance. Mars has a society shaped by Aldnoah and machines Earth cannot casually dismiss. The premise makes every attempt at peace feel exposed before the first battle even starts.
