Koryo Academy trains students who can manifest Blazes, weapons shaped from their souls. Tor Kokonoe produces a shield instead, which the institution regards as unusual but apparently acceptable. Students are paired into Duos for training and daily life. Combat education now includes close coordination with a silver-haired roommate he has only just met.
