A young orphan living on the streets of Shibuya stumbles into a fantastic world populated by beasts. There he meets Kumatetsu, a powerful warrior searching for an apprentice. Kumatetsu takes him in and begins training him. Their lessons include martial arts and a considerable amount of arguing over the instructional method.

Shibuya gives way to a hidden beast world. A young orphan needs a place to belong. Kumatetsu needs an apprentice and lacks a gentle teaching style. They begin training together despite constant clashes. Martial arts becomes the structure holding two stubborn lives in the same room.

When Kyuuta, a young orphan living on the streets of Shibuya, stumbles into a fantastic world of beasts, he’s taken in by Kumatetsu, a gruff, rough-around-the-edges warrior beast who’s been searching for the perfect apprentice. Despite their constant bickering, Kyuuta and Kumatetsu begin training together and slowly form a bond as surrogate father and son.
