Four middle school girls occupy a former tea room as a club with no purpose beyond whatever amuses them.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Akari begins middle school by joining the Amusement Club with her childhood friends Kyouko and Yui. Chinatsu soon becomes its fourth member after learning that the Tea Club has dissolved. They inherit the old tea room and no clear purpose. Administrative freedom has been achieved without a corresponding plan.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Four middle school girls gather in the room left behind by a dissolved Tea Club. Their replacement organization is called the Amusement Club, though it has no assigned activity. Akari joins her childhood friends, and classmate Chinatsu follows. The empty agenda leaves ordinary time open to whatever the group creates.

Gigguku

The Amusement Club has the perfect charter: do whatever feels fun today. Akari reunites with childhood friends Kyouko and Yui, then classmate Chinatsu joins them in the former Tea Club room. With no official task dragging them forward, every conversation can bend into a new bit of school-day chaos.

Father's Basement

A group of girls sitting in a club room is hardly a rare comedy setup. YuruYuri strips even the club activity away, which puts all pressure on the cast's chemistry and timing. Akari, Kyouko, Yui, and Chinatsu have a room to themselves, no real mission, and plenty of time to create complications.
