An arranged engagement brings two stubborn young martial artists into the same family dojo, where romantic friction and competitive pride repeatedly become physical comedy.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Ranma returns from martial arts training and arrives at the Tendo dojo with his father. An old agreement pairs him with Akane, who has no more enthusiasm for the arrangement than he does. The fathers remain pleased with their administrative work.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Enter the Tendo dojo. Hear the fathers’ old agreement. Ranma and Akane reject the engagement, yet family plans keep them under the same roof. Pride blocks easy conversation. Martial arts supplies a louder language whenever ordinary discussion becomes inconvenient at home.

Gigguku

Ranma and Akane are already skilled enough to make any disagreement physical, then their fathers announce an arranged engagement. Suddenly the dojo becomes a pressure cooker of pride and romantic friction. Every insult can start a match, and every match proves how closely they watch each other!

Father's Basement

Some jokes reflect the assumptions of a 1989 sex comedy, so modern viewers should expect material that has aged unevenly. The core construction remains effective. Two proud martial artists resist an engagement while family meddling converts domestic irritation into tightly timed slapstick.
