Tales of Zestiria the X

This 2016 ufotable fantasy follows Sorey, a human raised among unseen seraphim who dreams of peaceful coexistence with humanity.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Sorey grows up among seraphim, spiritual beings most humans cannot perceive. He believes people once saw them and hopes that kind of coexistence can return. His first visit to the human capital places that belief in a society unfamiliar with his companions. The social adjustment is considerable before any larger responsibility enters consideration.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Raised among seraphim, Sorey sees spiritual beings hidden from most humans. He enters the human capital for the first time carrying an old belief that both groups once lived together. His hope for renewed coexistence meets a world where many people cannot perceive the neighbors he considers family.

Gigguku

Sorey has spent his life among seraphim that most humans cannot even see. He still believes people and spirits can live together again, and he carries that hope into the human capital for the first time. The premise gives his optimism a real obstacle because the two sides do not share the same visible world!

Father's Basement

A sincere young fantasy hero can become exhausting before the quest even begins. Sorey's upbringing gives his idealism useful grounding. Seraphim are family to him, while most humans cannot perceive them at all. His dream of coexistence therefore starts with a basic gap in experience rather than an abstract speech about peace.
