Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Three centuries after the Calamity War, Kudelia plans to travel from Mars to Earth and speak for the independence of Chryse. Young security workers Mikazuki and Orga are assigned to escort her. When Gjallarhorn attacks their company, Orga sees a chance to challenge its leadership. Mikazuki answers the assault by piloting the old Gundam Barbatos.

Mars remains under Earth government control centuries after the Calamity War. Kudelia intends to argue for Chryse's independence on Earth, escorted by security workers Mikazuki and Orga. An attack by Gjallarhorn forces the young workers into conflict with both the outside threat and their own company. Their strongest defense is the old Gundam Barbatos.

Kudelia is heading to Earth to speak for Martian independence, and the young workers guarding her are thrown into an attack by Gjallarhorn! Orga sees a chance to challenge the company controlling them, while Mikazuki climbs into Gundam Barbatos. The opening packs political pressure and youth rebellion around one old machine returning to battle!

The Earth-controlled Mars conflict and cruel workplace hierarchy are drawn in direct lines. That clarity does give the opening a firm engine. Kudelia's independence mission creates the political objective, while Mikazuki and Orga face an immediate attack inside their security company. Gundam Barbatos supplies the force needed to answer it.
