Alderamin on the Sky

Madhouse frames military fantasy through Ikta Solork, a war-hating teenager whose laziness and sharp reasoning clash with an empire demanding officer candidates.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

The Katvarna Empire is at war with the Republic of Kioka. Ikta Solork would prefer leisure and no military career whatsoever, but circumstances push him toward the High Grade Military Officer Exam. His dislike of effort coexists inconveniently with an ability to think clearly about dangerous situations.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Ikta hates war and has no ambition to become an officer. The empire's conflict with Kioka gives him little room to avoid military institutions. Circumstances pull him toward a high-level officer exam, where observation and reasoning matter more than enthusiasm for battle. His reluctance sharpens the military premise.

Gigguku

Ikta wants comfort and absolutely no part of military glory, yet circumstances keep pulling him toward an officer's exam during wartime. That contradiction RULES. His sharp reasoning collides with a system built for service, while his dislike of war makes every military demand feel immediately personal!

Father's Basement

Ikta arrives from the crowded shelf of brilliant men who advertise intelligence through laziness. The premise earns more interest from his stated hatred of war. An empire under pressure wants officers, while he wants distance from military ambition. That conflict gives his reasoning a purpose beyond showing off.
