NEW GAME!

NEW GAME! focuses on the everyday production floor of a game studio, following a junior character artist through repeated feedback inside an unusually cozy first workplace.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Fresh from high school, Aoba joins Eagle Jump, the studio behind a game she loves. She enters the character team at the bottom, where drawing skill must survive feedback and production needs. Her colleagues are supportive and eccentric. The labor standards are presented with considerable softness.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Aoba begins her first job as a character artist at Eagle Jump. Learning the studio pipeline means building models, accepting corrections, and figuring out how this all-women team works together. It is a workplace comedy about becoming useful through one careful revision at a time.

Gigguku

There is something dangerously comforting about watching Aoba open her first professional art file and realize talent was only the entry ticket. NEW GAME! finds excitement in supervisor notes, shared lunches, and the microscopic changes that make a character usable. The office fantasy is very polished, but that first-job mixture of terror and pride is wonderfully specific.

Father's Basement

Do not treat this as a documentary about game development. Eagle Jump is too cute, too calm, and suspiciously free of certain industry problems. Within that bubble, Aoba's first weeks have real texture. She learns unfamiliar tools, receives blunt corrections, and slowly understands how individual artwork fits a production that was moving before she arrived.
