Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Keijo is a popular gambling sport played on floating platforms. Competitors use their hips and chests to knock one another into the water. Former gymnast Nozomi Kaminashi enters a boarding school to train for the professional circuit and its prize money. Her balance has found a highly specialized market.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Nozomi comes from gymnastics and needs a career with serious prize money. She chooses Keijo, a women-only sport fought on platforms above water. Hips and chests become legal striking tools. Boarding school turns her balance and flexibility into a new competitive discipline where falling into the pool ends the exchange.

Gigguku

Nozomi sees a professional sport built around knocking rivals off floating platforms and treats it like a real athletic future. That commitment sells the whole ridiculous premise. Her gymnastics background suddenly matters in a completely new arena, and every bit of balance has money riding on it. I am already taking the training too seriously!

Father's Basement

There is no pretending the fictional sport was designed before the fan service. Women battle on water platforms using hips and chests, and gambling supplies the money. The useful part is Nozomi's athletic foundation. She comes from gymnastics, so balance and flexibility give her a credible reason to pursue this absurd professional route.
