Sweetness & Lightning

A math teacher learns to cook with his young daughter and one of his students, making shared meals a practical language for everyday care.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Kouhei is raising his young daughter Tsumugi while relying heavily on prepared food. A chance connection with his student Kotori leads the three into a kitchen together. None begins as a confident cook. Dinner improves through practice, patience, and considerable child supervision.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Math teacher Kouhei wants to give Tsumugi better meals but lacks cooking experience. Kotori, one of his students, joins their homemade experiments. The three begin learning recipes together. Each dinner turns practical mistakes into a reason to sit down and pay attention.

Gigguku

Sweetness & Lightning understands that cooking for someone is a chain of tiny decisions, and every one can carry affection. Kouhei learns beside Tsumugi and Kotori rather than pretending confidence. Their awkward kitchen sessions create warmth through effort instead of grand speeches.

Father's Basement

Tsumugi's reactions carry much of the sweetness, and the setup clearly wants the audience invested in every meal. The cooking process gives that sentiment structure. Ingredients need handling, adults make mistakes, and eating together happens only after visible effort and practice.
