Gabriel arrives in the human world after graduating at the top of her angel school. Her mission is to make humans happy. Online games present a competing objective with stronger retention. She begins skipping school and reorganizing life around entertainment instead. Heaven's best student has adapted quickly. The original assignment has not benefited from the adaptation.

She does not drift gently into laziness. She commits to human entertainment with the conviction that should have saved humanity!

An angel abandoning her mission for online games is one clean inversion stretched into a school comedy. Gabriel's total commitment keeps it from feeling timid. She was heaven's top student. Now she skips class and treats self-indulgence as the better use of Earth. The joke is obvious, but the fall is specific enough to earn its setup.
