Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Yui joins her high school's light music club before learning what light music means or how to play an instrument. The club needs her, so this administrative oversight becomes a band. Rehearsals compete with snacks and conversation. Kyoto Animation treats each minor gesture with alarming care, which makes hanging around the clubroom feel like a legitimate appointment.
