Wagnaria!!

A Hokkaido family restaurant becomes the stage for workplace comedy when student Souta joins an unusually managed staff led by tiny senior Popura.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Souta Takanashi takes a part-time job at a family restaurant in Hokkaido. His senior Popura is older than him but routinely mistaken for a much younger student. Manager Kyoko demonstrates limited interest in doing managerial work. Food service continues, suggesting the establishment has developed unusual resilience.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Sixteen-year-old Souta joins a Hokkaido family restaurant. Popura is his cheerful senior despite looking much younger. Kyoko holds the manager title while avoiding the associated labor. Take orders. Learn the staff. Keep service moving. The ordinary workplace gives each unusual personality a practical reason to remain in the same room.

Gigguku

Wagnaria!! takes an ordinary family restaurant and immediately makes its staff more memorable than the menu. Souta enters through cheerful Popura, an older coworker everyone mistakes for a child, then meets Kyoko, a manager with no interest in managing. Every basic shift now has the ingredients for loud workplace friction!

Father's Basement

The setup introduces coworkers through exaggerated traits, and the jokes make no attempt to hide the mechanism. The restaurant is the useful anchor. Souta needs to work, Popura has unexpected seniority, and Kyoko refuses the effort her title suggests. Ordinary service duties keep their mismatched personalities from drifting into unrelated sketches.

Set in a family restaurant in Hokkaido, the northern prefecture of Japan, 16-year-old high school student Souta Takanashi works part-time along with his strange co-workers: Popura Taneshima, a high school girl who's a year older than Souta, yet easily mistaken for an elementary/middle schooler, and Kyoko Shirafuji, the 28-year-old store manager who doesn't bother to do any work at all.
