A Sister's All You Need.

This 2017 comedy follows novelist Itsuki and the writers, friends, editor, and accountant who crowd his working life.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Itsuki is a novelist working constantly toward his highly specific ideal of the ultimate younger sister. His daily orbit includes a gifted writer who loves him, an old classmate, another male author, an editor, and a severe tax accountant. Work and friendship share the same crowded space, with Chihiro quietly keeping the household functional.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Follow novelist Itsuki through workdays shaped by one consuming fictional obsession. Surround him with writers, an editor, an accountant, and old friends who bring their own demands. A Sister's All You Need. treats the creative life as a social mess, where the people interrupting the manuscript are also the people who understand why it matters.

Gigguku

Itsuki is trying to write his impossibly specific ideal while a whole circle of creative chaos keeps arriving around him. A genius writer in love, another author, an editor, a tax accountant. Everybody has a reason to interrupt. I love the basic pressure of a work life that cannot be separated from friendship even when the novelist badly needs a door.

Father's Basement

The younger-sister fixation is intentionally abrasive and can swallow the room before the ensemble gets a chance to speak. The wider premise is more promising. Itsuki is surrounded by people connected to his work and private life, including other writers and publishing professionals. That creates friction with more range than one recurring obsession can supply.
