Thirty-two classmates receive messages from an unknown sender calling itself the King. Each message contains an order and warns of lethal punishment for disobedience. Nobody can simply leave the group chat. As instructions become more invasive, ordinary classroom relationships turn into liabilities. Phone notifications have rarely carried such aggressive attendance requirements.
