Premieres January 2027 · Winter season
IruMafia Edition is a different Iruma. Here's where the school run stands.
Same Iruma, no school. A mafia boss adopts him, and the sweetest kid in anime has to run a crime family. It is an alternate take, not a season five, so none of this is homework: the demon school run just makes every familiar face hit harder when it walks in wearing a suit.

89 episodes ahead of you · … gets you there before the window opens.
Start at the beginning. Everything the spinoff reuses is introduced in Season 1.
Oct 2019 – Mar 2020 · 23 episodes ≈ 9 h
Season 1 · Sold to a demon

A human boy is sold to a demon by his own parents, and the demon decides to make him a grandson instead of a snack. Iruma enrolls at Babyls, where being human is a death sentence if anyone finds out, and falls in with the two worst students available.

Ep 18★ 8.1
He starts wanting things
The first episode where Iruma chases something instead of just surviving the day.

Ep 20★ 7.9
Awards season at Babyls
The human kid has to smile through a lot of demon attention.
Apr – Sep 2021 · 21 episodes ≈ 8½ h
Season 2 · Climb or lose it

The Misfit Class gets a target: rank up or lose the room it just won. This is the season that turns the supporting cast into people, hands the teachers full episodes, and lets the romance subplot stop pretending it is not there.

Ep 6★ 8.8
A room of their own
They win it, then instantly cannot agree on what to do with it.

Ep 18★ 8.1
Ameri's episode
The student council president gets the hour fans rewatch most.
Oct 2022 – Mar 2023 · 21 episodes ≈ 8½ h
Season 3 · The Harvest Festival

One long school-wide competition where the Misfit Class finally has to perform in front of everyone. The longest stretch of the show that plays for real stakes, and the arc manga readers spent two seasons asking for.

Ep 17★ 8.6
Only he can finish this
The festival hands Iruma a job that fits his very specific talent.

Ep 21★ 7.7
The quiet closer
Iruma says out loud what the year has been about.
Apr 2026 – airing now · 24 episodes ≈ 9½ h
Season 4 · Who gets the crown

Opens on the Music Festival and moves into the question of who becomes the next demon king. This is the season currently on air, so it is also the one people are arguing about week to week.

Ep 7★ 9.2
The one people send to friends
The episode that pulls back everyone who dropped the show early.

Ep 12★ 8.9
A year, measured in centimeters
Small changes, added up and put in one very short distance.

IruMafia Edition · The other Iruma

Not a sequel. Iruma grows up in a slum, gives his last loaf of bread to a beaten old man, and finds out he just saved the head of the Babyl mafia. Don Sullivan asks the kid to be his grandson, and Iruma ends up next in line to run the outfit. Same kindness, much worse neighborhood.
What everyone's talking about
The premiere conversation, condensed. Paraphrased from public chatter.
“Pitch him older. He has to sound like someone a crime family would actually take orders from.”
“I came for a gag comedy and now I care about who becomes demon king. How did that happen?”
“This is my chill weekly watch. A mafia version is not what I expected to be waiting for.”
