A solid season

The anime equivalent of a decent home-cooked meal. Slam Dunk topped the charts, Aoki Densetsu Shoot! quietly built its fanbase, and nobody's backlog got any shorter. Mostly new blood too, 7 of the 7 shows were franchise debuts.
