Ping Pong the Animation faced early complaints about its loose artwork, then converted the doubters with Masaaki Yuasa's direction and fierce character writing. HAIKYU!! made volleyball feel urgent, MUSHI-SHI returned without losing its hush, and JoJo finally reached Stardust Crusaders.
