Khara is inseparable from modern Evangelion, culminating in the emotionally reflective Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. Japan Anima(tor)’s Exhibition showed its appetite for experimentation, while Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX carried that restless visual energy into another major science fiction universe.
