The Anime Lad
Atsuhiro Kagari is deeply in love with his girlfriend Non Katagiri. He speaks to her with harshness and neglect, then privately obsesses over everything she does. He also follows and eavesdrops on her without her knowledge. Nontan interprets his behavior as cute. Their established relationship has not produced a functional communication method.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Akkun and Nontan are already a couple, but his behavior makes that fact difficult to recognize. He treats her coldly in person while privately adoring her and secretly monitoring her life. Nontan remains affectionate and largely unaware of the full contradiction. Each short episode isolates another failure to express what he actually feels.
Gigguku
Akkun is completely devoted to Nontan, but direct contact activates the harshest version of his personality. The moment she is not looking, his hidden affection becomes enormous. Nontan keeps meeting the cold performance with cheerful ease, which makes his emotional malfunction even louder. The short episodes waste no time exposing the distance between his words and his obsession!
Father's Basement
Following and eavesdropping on a girlfriend without her knowledge is invasive, even when a comedy frames it as devotion. The safer part of the premise is the communication failure. Akkun cannot make his spoken behavior resemble his actual affection, while Nontan remains comfortable enough to deny his hostility the response it appears to demand.
