Anyone uninterested in fanservice can leave at the premise, because the series has made it part of the power system rather than decoration. Within that narrow mission, the setup is coherent. Aliens drain human desire, while teenage heroes use H-energy to fight them. The parody comes from applying superhero stakes to an intentionally indecent resource.
