The Anime Lad
Fudo leads the heroic Gelato 5. Desumi serves as a powerful commander for the opposing organization Gekko. They have also begun dating in secret. Public battles provide convenient cover for private conversations, though neither has much relationship experience to support the deception.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Hero leader Fudo and enemy commander Desumi fall for each other across organizational lines. Their first relationship must remain hidden from both sides. Costumed battles become covert dates, with weapons nearby and teammates always liable to interrupt. Romance develops inside the exaggerated rituals of televised hero conflict.
Gigguku
Fudo and Desumi are supposed to clash as hero and villain, but they keep using battlefield privacy to figure out dating instead. The contrast is endlessly charming. Huge costumes frame painfully sincere first-relationship nerves, and Desumi can switch from feared commander to flustered girlfriend in one perfect beat.
Father's Basement
The tokusatsu parody favors obvious jokes, and secrecy survives partly because everyone around the couple becomes conveniently inattentive. Their romance still works because neither treats it cynically. Fudo and Desumi are inexperienced, earnest, and forced to improvise intimacy inside roles built for public opposition.
