The Anime Lad
After her father disappears and leaves her without a home, Nanami helps a stranger who offers her his. The property is a shrine, and the offer includes his position as its local deity. Tomoe, the resident fox familiar, does not recognize this transfer as competent management.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Homeless teenager Nanami accepts a stranger's offer of shelter and inherits his neglected shrine. Divine work comes attached. So does Tomoe, a powerful fox familiar who refuses her authority and considers the new arrangement an insult. Their first workplace negotiation starts comfortably well below zero.
Father's Basement
The setup stacks familiar ingredients: displaced heroine, beautiful hostile familiar, magical workplace. What distinguishes it is Nanami's practical backbone. She is frightened and inexperienced without becoming passive, while Tomoe's refusal to accept her makes every divine task double as an argument over who actually belongs at the shrine.
