The Dangers in My Heart

A morbid, withdrawn middle school boy encounters the popular girl he has watched from afar, turning exaggerated inner darkness into romantic comedy.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Kyotaro is fascinated by murder and imagines acting on macabre fantasies involving his classmates. This is the persona he presents to himself. Then he encounters Yamada, the popular girl he has observed from a distance, and feels an unwelcome spark. His carefully maintained darkness has developed a romantic administrative error.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Start with a withdrawn middle schooler narrating violent fantasies. Put the class idol in his path. Let one encounter disturb everything he assumes about her and himself. The premise keeps both impressions unstable while Kyotaro's grand internal darkness collides with an ordinary adolescent feeling he cannot control.

Gigguku

Kyotaro acts like the final boss of middle school inside his own head. Then one encounter with Yamada lights a spark he absolutely did not schedule. That collision is painfully adolescent. He has built an entire self-image around darkness, and the popular girl he watches from afar refuses to fit neatly inside it!

Father's Basement

Kyotaro's murder fantasies are deliberately embarrassing, but deliberate embarrassment still requires patience. The useful tension sits beneath the pose. He assumes he understands Yamada because she is popular, while the premise warns that neither student matches the other's first impression. The romance starts by making his certainty look fragile.

Fascinated by murder and all things macabre, Kyoutarou daydreams of acting out his twisted fantasies on his unsuspecting classmates, but an encounter with Anna Yamada, the gorgeous class idol, lights a spark in the darkness of his heart. It’s a classic tale of an antisocial boy falling for a popular girl, but neither are who they appear to be at first glance.

What defines it
