Ryuuto is an introverted student with a crush on popular classmate Runa. A lost bet pushes him into confessing, and she agrees to date him. This removes the usual romantic finish line from the opening setup. They must now discover what either person expects while their different school reputations remain inconveniently present.

Ryuuto and Runa cannot hide behind endless confession delays, so their mismatched expectations surface early. The premise gives honest communication more room than the standard school romance stall.
