He can bring modern food into a fantasy setting that has no reason to expect it, and even familiar ingredients gain absurd possibilities. I love that the premise points toward cooking and appetite instead of conquest. The humble pantry has entered the adventure genre!
Father's Basement
A magical shopping interface removes a great deal of inconvenience before the story begins. That is the point, but it is still suspiciously tidy. The more appealing choice is what Mukouda does with it. Modern food becomes his odd advantage, shifting the fantasy away from another chosen fighter and toward the practical consequences of bringing ordinary products somewhere new.
