The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess

Blood-averse vampire shut-in Komari is abruptly appointed commander of a rebellious military unit despite lacking the strength and magic expected from her prestigious family.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Terakomari Gandesblood has spent three years as a shut-in and refuses to drink blood. She is physically weak and poor at magic despite belonging to a prestigious vampire family. The Mulnite Imperial Army appoints her commander of a unit that revolts against superiors who appear weak. Komari’s qualifications remain unavailable for comment.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Komari leaves three years of isolation for an unexpected command in the Mulnite Imperial Army. Her soldiers are belligerent and quick to challenge weakness. She cannot meet the powerful reputation attached to her family, and she cannot safely admit that. Her maid Vill becomes the closest thing she has to support inside the assignment.

Gigguku

Komari has built her life around staying inside, avoiding blood, and hiding how little power she possesses. Then the empire hands her a military unit full of soldiers who reject weak leaders. She has to stand in front of them and project exactly the confidence she does not feel. Vill’s devotion makes the impossible assignment slightly more survivable and much more volatile!

Father's Basement

Vill’s infatuation can make personal boundaries disappear for the sake of a joke. Komari’s military problem is much stronger. Her soldiers challenge weakness, while she lacks the strength associated with her family name. Every command therefore carries the risk that the unit will notice the gap between her reputation and her actual abilities.

Three years into her life as a shut-in, vampire Terakomari Gandesblood (Komari for short), awakens to find she’s been appointed as a Commander in the Mulnite Imperial Army! The thing is, her new unit consists solely of belligerent ruffians who revolt against their superiors at the slightest hint of weakness.
